I love the energy of weddings! They're celebratory, sacred and full of deep-down emotions. I was so excited to get to photograph Ashleigh and DC's special day. They planned a perfect fall wedding on Magnolia River. Outside, under oaks with a calm river in the yard- what more could you want? Every moment was photo worthy. But, an impromptu hop in the canoe on the dock post ceremony with all their guest standing to watch was sublime. It was like a scene out of a movie! Genuine laughs, smiles, cheers and kisses. I know that they'll remember that special moment on their wedding day forever!

Marcie's Mom's Birthday | Family Small Event Photography

Photographing a family's small event is a special treat! I absolutely enjoying hanging out, watching families love on each other. The Braswell family had traveled from different cities and states to all come together at a Mobile Bay house to spend a weekend celebrating a milestone birthday of their beloved mom. It doesn't get any better than fresh crabs, dirty feet and a dock on the bay. I hope they treasure the "fly-on-the-wall" documentary photos from their fun day.
