Homecoming 2016 | Fairhope, AL

It was homecoming time, again at Fairhope High School! I loved the invite to photograph this fun group all dolled up for a night out- dinner, dance and a midnight breakfast! They tried to play with a serious game face, but it didn't take them long to lighten the group's mood.  An impromptu downtown Fairhope photoshoot was all fun for us!. Who can resist a salmon colored wall? And the white lines of this downtown Fairhope shop that I've had my eyes on for awhile. They all looked  like a million bucks- the photographs tell their story.

the day I watched the light in your house

You and your mister left for a long weekend trip. We were holding down the fort, graciously invading your spaces and readying for camp drop off. Washing, waiting and being content to a rather lazy housekeeping kind of day.

I'm always drawn to new spaces in my photography mind. I watch and observe. Your house was no exception. Everywhere I turned during the day I found light- like moth to flame. This is a documentary of- the day I watched the light in your house.
