New York Getaway Weekend
The hubby and I took advantage of a long weekend getaway to NYC sans kids. We visited with an unclear agenda other than to soak it up like a local. We wanted to enjoy big city life- eating good food, relaxing in a concrete jungle and shopping for common items in a place where choices abound. It's hard to squeeze it all into a weekend. We do feel like we succeeded and definitely look forward to a future return visit.

I spent a fun week at my sister's house in NC this past week. We were all due of some quality time with each other. The house was energy packed with 6 kids total between us. At the end of our stay, my 3 nephews obliged in a quick and spontaneous garage session. I loved using the Lensbaby and adding a twist with objects in their hands- it's all boy, boy, boy!
