baking bread | Fairhope food photography
I love baking (sweet) breads. I've baked for years. I have loaf pans of many assorted sizes. At the start of early fall, when technically where we live it still feels like summer, I always choose to bake this delicious bread called, Autumn Pear Bread. It has yummy pieces of ripe moist pear that is balanced nicely with a smooth textured bread and a faint hint of nutmeg. It's a yummy morning, noon or night kind of treat!
Grand Teton Sunrise
Part of our summer adventure vacation was spent with family in Jackson, WY. It was so fun to stay put for one week. The week flew by- but, that just leaves us all wanting more! I was intentional on this trip to capture some of the amazing landscape scenery in new ways. In new light. In early light. In late light. I wanted to play with the mountains at times of the day that I'm not normally up and out with my camera. One of my challenges was a Grand Teton sunrise. I was sweetly and patiently escorted by my husband into the National Park (at 4:30am) to a spot known for it's morning sunrise glory. It was indeed just that! Magically transforming every second as the sun rose on the horizon. This was indeed a fantastic way to start a day.
